![]() ![]() Okay, I can believe that, but how does it scale? If your setup is worth 200Kper section and 24 of those sections would fit on the map, you should need 2-3 sections for utilities depending on type, so show me a population of between 4.2 - 4.4M. Then you tell me that I won’t get even 2.5M with my layout which is nothing more than a guess, whilst bragging about having 200K in a 100 tile block. We both know you didn’t cover those 11 buildings with 1 each of the other 3 small service buildings. You show me a picture of a small clinic covering 11 residential buildings, okay, here is a picture of one covering 19, nothing tricky about that. You don’t know how long I’ve been playing or what level my account is, if I’ve been playing for 5 weeks or 5 years. ![]() What irritates me is that you are so smug about your layout being better and knowing more about scbuildit than me, when neither are true. I’m not saying the layout I pictured above is the highest efficiency possible (I’m sure it’s not), and I don’t care if you like it or want to use it. I think this will probably be my last response on the topic, since this seems like a weird thing to get into an internet argument over. You want to keep those as center possible to utilize the coverage. Not sure how you calculated the road efficency, my sample also includes landscaping over the roads not supporting any buildings, thus boosting the population even futher.Ī road around a big square is not efficient, (and definitely not beautyful) - that is one road too many :) Service buildings on map edges are also not effective use of the area they can cover. Having so many service buildings means less building space for other things. ![]() Also take note which direction they point too and that the services do not need to overlap. Note that the far right medical building supports 14. Having 5 of these blocks will cover that entire space you've used 36 service buildings.Ĭheck this out to see 3 ajacent blocks on a 12x36 area. The actual width is 12, leaving you 2 without coverage but room to place education or any other category. My sample shows a city block of 10x10 to show how you can get the most out the service buildings on a restrictive area. Playing this game since 2017 I've been there using many different layouts, including yours, but then the population will never reach say 2.5 million you need on average per city to open up the final region. Look, I'm not trying to take out your theory. Today we have a SimCity BuildIt 2 Million Population Layout Guide, with an overhead view and grid with buildings, services, and calculations.
